Managing Our Environmental Impact

One of Energy Wholesale’s "Big Goals" is to be "Trusted with the Environment"; this means being recognised as an environmentally responsible business, delivering financial and operational targets, while minimising the environmental impact of our activities including prevention of pollution.

Our approach to managing environmental issues is underpinned by the principles of Iberdrola's Environmental Policy.

This approach is outlined within our own Energy Wholesale Environmental Policy

Each of our sites operates an Environmental Management System (EMS) that is compliant with the international standard ISO 14001 and two power stations have EMS's that meet the requirements of the EU’s Eco-Management and Audit Scheme.
